Swine flu

I recently read an article about swine flu. Among other ridiculous things it said, "You should avoid people who are coughing or sneezing...".

Guess what.

My family has been coughing and sneezing since February...

So now what?

Maybe it started with the Rober home in SLO?????? Call in the authorities now! jk Honey, all kids cough and sneeze and have runny noses between Christmas and the dead heat of summer. That's what always made summer a time of joy for me! The snotty noses stopped! It will get better, I promise!

After just looking on the CDC website it says, "Each flu season is unique, but it is estimated that, on average, approximately 5% to 20% of U.S. residents get the flu, and more than 200,000 persons are hospitalized for flu-related complications each year. About 36,000 Americans die on average per year from the complications of flu."

I can't help but think that the swine flu "pandemic" is not much more than a media ploy.

Seriously! Natalee's teacher told her not to come to school if she was coughing - she'd be out like 50% of the year! Obviously, she's not a mother...
