Why is my banner so small!
I get so frustrated with the look of my blog. Can you tell? I love going to peoples blogs and being greeted by some beautiful banners. I've tried creating my own, tried using free ones (note current cutest blog on the block free banner) and I can't bring myself to pay for a special design, cause, let's face it, I'm not going for any awards.
The least I could do is have the chintzy banner that I have stretch the width of my page. But my technological evolution is not that advanced.
Brooke, how did you get your banner so wide?
At least my hips are wide...

You are too funny! It's all about how much time you have to "mess" with it. Me? I just slap it down and move on....So, I get the free, canned version.
Kate I can show you all of that when we are at my parents house! I have become a blogger expert in the html! Anytime you want a custom banner dont you dare pay for it! I would be happy to do it anytime!
I think it's the blog template you use. I think your banner would cross the whole page if your template had the post starting at the very left side of the page and went all the way across the page, like mine does. Yours has space on both sides so the banner has space on both sides. That's just my theory.
Honey, I can build computer and fix the hardware, but blast it! I can't figure out how to do a stupid blog either! It's beyond me. Lucky for me Lisa gives me a Christmas present (for the last 2 years) of doing my Blog designs for me every month. She's great! You should ask her for a Christmas present, or better yet, just take her free lessons.
Kate when you find out could you let me know? I've been wanting a photo spread across the top too!
Love that positive attitude
vanessa is right...you have to change the template of your blog to something like minima stretch...
My sister did mine for me so I just don't touch anything and cross my fingers that it will stay that way!
Kate you can keep the same template just change the size of your header in the HTML. Just remind me at my parents house to show you where.
