Wow! I can tell I'm really entering a new phase in parenting. The kids are finally allowing me much more privacy. For example:
When I was going to the bathroom today, and Briggs interrupted me to ask if he could have something to eat, he closed his eyes!
I thought this day would never come!
(once again, I reach for the sarcasm sign)

wait, do you really have a sarcasm sign? :)
congrats on progress its the little things that really count and turn into bigger things.....
So funny! My dog and cat still follow me in and try to rub on my legs if I don't solidly shut the door!
funny! Hannah isn't quite there yet, but she certainly understands wanting her own privacy- she orders me out of the bathroom when she's using it, but suddenly wants to be in my face when I'm in the bathroom. -keely
I think I may have to make a literal "Sarcasm sign". It would be such a useful tool in life.
Kate, you use sarcasm? Really? I never knew! jk
Kate, you use sarcasm? Really? I never knew...j/k I'm afraid you will never have a day of peace on the pot until they are grown and gone, and then the girl will always feel comfortable to come in not matter when or where!
