End of Conversation

Just a quick anecdote from Briggs. We are trying to get him to stop sucking his thumb and have tried every tactic in the book - but to no avail. The kid just likes his thumb. So tonight we are giving him the lecture/pep-talk when he interrupt us and says, "OK, OK. End of conversation!"
Excuse me, little 4-year-old!

Oh Boy! Congratualations on having 2 teenagers before they are the age 10 10! Better you than me! My hats off to you Kate for the patience you exhibit!

From all of the stories you tell of Ashlynn and Briggs it does sounds like they are teenagers stuck in little kids bodies... but it must sound much more cute coming from a 4 year-old's mouth than a 14 year-old. Your stories always make me laugh!

Wow thats awesome...was it the end of thumbsucking? I remember Iris (lisa's mom) saying that her parents put an empty paper towel roll on her arm so she couldnt suck her fingers. Sounds like a good trick to me.

My question is do you guys bust up when they say these things or do you have to keep a straight face?

Some times there is shock. Sometimes there is chortling. Most of the time Brian and I just look at each other, roll our eyes, and shake our heads as if to say, "I can't believe we made these kids."
